hi, this is a long overdue review. mason & sons are the kindest, most knowledgable, extremely patient, and reliably supportive auto repair place i've ever experienced. they helped me after my car hit a pothole which massively damaged the car in the middle of a road trip, passing through south carolina. they helped me save money by using used parts and walked me through everything they were doing simply and thoroughly enough for someone with little auto repair experience to understand. they helped me for the rest of my trip, even when it broke down again which turned out to be a faulty part that was installed, but their warranty service refunded and paid me outright for the service cost. they continued to help me even when i was no longer in the area and encountered another auto problem in a different state! so all in all, highly recommend this place if you usually avoid auto places because you're afraid they'll overcharge you because you don't have experience with auto knowledge. they're incredibly helpful and very tolerant of people who are just starting to understand the repairs involved with owning a car and its parts
