I had a slight shudder when my 2015 Explorer was going through its gears. Now I am a female, but this female has been in every aspect of the automotive industry from assembly to salvage. I know cars, not to mention my dad was a mechanic along with others in my life. I loved watching them work, learning as I go, plus I research the issue, you know online car forums even YouTube. Now, I said all that just to say that, I went to Mason & Sons due to the concern with my transmission. I knew what to have done and I asked them for the transmission flush. They asked why I felt I needed the flush and I explained. I also told them that I know it could lead to it being the torque converter, but all good mechanics will start with the least expensive solution and work their way up. They agreed, they did not look at me like I was crazy, or with the look of I have no idea of what I am talking about. They were all nothing but smiles when I went in! They also gave an online quote!!! I love, love, love that!!! When I made it in and they informed me of the total, which was was less than the quote!!! I was able to add the transmission additive we discussed! I got my Explorer that evening and it shifted so smooth, the shutter was gone! The wonderful folks at Mason & Sons are my now service center!!! Thank you all for the amazing work.
